In this post, we will explain about how to create the Cutout effect in Photoshop.

How to Create Cutout effect in Photoshop – Explain in Tamil

This Cutout effect will apply to any Text, Logo, and shapes.

This is a very simple technique, Let we learn how to create this Cutout Effect.

For This cutout Effect, You need any Pattern. I have given a link for the used pattern in the Tutorial.

Download and use the above pattern or the Same pattern as you wish.

Create Cutout effect in Photoshop:

Step 1: Create a new Document.

Step 2: Add a pattern to your document. Resize and fit to the canvas.

Then change the blending mode for the pattern layer from normal to Overlay then decrease the opacity to 50%.

Step 3: Then add your Text or shape to the document.

Then open the Layer Style panel. Add stroke and Inner Shadow to that text layer. For accurate value and color Please watch the video, link given in below.

Step 4: Again drag and drop the same Pattern layer to the document above the text Layer resize to cover the Text. Then Add clipping mask. Ctrl+Alt+G Shortcut for it. Then Change Blending mode to Overlay.

Done!

Now You will get the final output of Cutout effect for your Text! Enjoy!!
